Indianapolis Colts tight ends are hurting early in the 2020 season. Off season acquisition Trey Burton went on I.R. while Jack Doyle has yet to practice this week, per Kevin Bowen of 1070 The Fan. There has been no confirmation that he won’t play yet, but not practicing at all with a foot/ankle injury isn’t a good sign for his status against the Vikings.

If Doyle can’t go, then Mo Alie-Cox would see the biggest workload for the tight ends while Parris Campbell would likely see increased targets as well. The Vikings were beaten soundly by Aaron Rodgers and his wide receivers last week, but tight ends not as much. The Vikings safety, Anthony Harris, is excellent and if he is covering your tight end, you could be in trouble.
