What C.J. Uzomah has done in Week 2 fantasy football

Can C.J. Uzomah have a strong showing against a Ravens team that forked up two tight end touchdowns in Week 1?

4th quarter update: Uzomah suffered a lower leg injury and was carted off the field. He left with four receptions for 42 yards and a touchdown.

1st half update: Uzomah is the first Bengals pass catcher to find the end zone this season. Joe Burrow completed a pass to Uzomah that resulted in a 23-yard touchdown score.

C.J Uzomah is the starting tight end for the Cincinnati Bengals now that Tyler Eifert has left for Jacksonville. He got off to a modest start in Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season, but is expected to get plenty of opportunities if he continues to be among the team leaders in targets.

Fantasy Football Analysis: Bengals TE C.J. Uzomah

Uzomah amassed five targets in the season opener and caught four passes for 45 yards. Only A.J. Green had more balls thrown his way, so that bodes well for Uzomah’s production. The Browns forked up two touchdown passes to the Baltimore RavensMark Andrews despite knowing that he’s Lamar Jackson’s favorite red zone target. If Cleveland is too relaxed in the middle of the field, Uzomah could get scoring opportunities.

Start/Sit Recommendation

If you don’t have an absolute stud at tight end, Uzomah is worth a start.
