A middleweight battle between Kevin Holland and Darren Stewart will be the first fight in the main card for UFC Vegas 11 this Saturday live at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and on ESPN+.

“Trailblazers” Kevin Holland will enter the bout with an 18-5 record and riding a two-match win streak. He’s won five of his last six following a brutal loss via unanimous decision to the No. 2-ranked light heavyweight Thiago Santos. Santos fought as a middleweight for that bout. Since then, Holland has been unstoppable, and he’s been so dominant on the back of his strong orthodox-style striking. Holland lands 4.65 significant strikes per minutes with a 55% striking rate. His 51% takedown defense allows him typically to keep on his feet. With half of wins via knockout, expect a powerful performance from Holland.

For this bout, Holland will take on the 12-5 Darren Stewart. Stewart, also known as “The Dentist,” fought just over a month ago, getting a submission victory over Maki Pitolo. Also an orthodox fighter, Stewart looks to get on the ground more than Holland, converting 1.32 takedowns per 15 minutes. He achieves 43% of his takedown attempts. Holland has fought twice this year, splitting the bouts 1-1.

Both Holland and Stewart fought during UFC Fight Night 174 which was in early August, so they should be in rhythm and ready to get back in the octagon. Holland, given his dominance as of late, will open as the favorite.
