By The Numbers: Miami vs. Louisville

Both teams won a C-USA game last week, and will open ACC play on Saturday.

Atlantic Coast Conference play begins for two teams on Saturday when D’Eriq King and the Miami Hurricanes head to Kentucky to face Micale Cunningham and the Louisville Cardinals.

The Canes knocked off UAB in their home opener last Thursday 31-14. They averaged 6.3 yards per play and racked up 495 yards of offense, while holding the Blazers to 4.7 and 285 yards. King shined in his Miami debut going 15/23 for 141 yards and a touchdown, along with 12 carries for 83 yards and a rushing score. It was also enough for the cover of a spread that ranged between 13.5-16 all week.

Louisville defeated Western Kentucky 34-23 with 6.8 yards per play against 4.3 for the Hilltoppers. The former Malik Cunningham now goes by Micale, and was 19/34 for 343 yards in his season debut with three touchdowns and one interception. UL was on the wrong side of the closing line, but by just a point.
