The NFL wraps up Week 1 with the Denver Broncos hosting the Tennessee Titans on the back half of the Monday Night Football doubleheader. The game kicks off at 10:10 p.m. ET as the late game on ESPN.
The Broncos enter the second year of Drew Lock’s time as the starting quarterback, and things are off to a rough start. Courtland Sutton is a game-time decision after suffering a shoulder sprain in practice last week and seems unlikely to play. The team added Jerry Jeudy in the 2020 NFL Draft, and Lock might have to rely heavily on him if Sutton can’t play.
The Titans extended Ryan Tannehill and Derrick Henry to big deals this offseason and will be counting on them in a big way this season. And of course, fantasy football managers will be counting heavily on Henry this season.
Matchups are going to be key in this matchup, but it helps to see what the analytics are saying about potential performances. Looking at fantasy projections for season-long leagues (1/2 PPR setting), you can’t really go wrong with most of your big name pieces. But there could be some value to be found a little further down the depth chart.
This is a tough one to predict. If the Broncos don’t have Sutton, I think the Titans probably get the victory. Here are Week 1 fantasy points projections to help you further improve your chances to get off to a strong start.
