Gase: Le’Veon Bell could miss ‘a couple weeks’ with hamstring injury

Monday update: Adam Gase told the media Le’Veon Bell could miss a couple weeks due to a hamstring injury. He said he didn’t want to put a timetable on it, but he did. Frank Gore and Josh Adams will be names to watch.

The New York Jets have not looked good in their debut and now their starting running back, Le’Veon Bell, has quickly announced as doubtful to return. Bell had already been sharing touches with Frank Gore, but now it looks like Gore will take over.

Bell had six carries for 14 yards and two receptions for 32 yards while Frank Gore has five carries for 22 yards and no receptions. The Bills should be winning by 20 points or more, but a couple Josh Allen fumbles have slowed down the offense enough to keep the Jets somewhat in the game.
