Josh Jacobs is now up to three rushing TOUCHDOWNS. He also has four receptions! Not a bad start to the 2020 season. Unfortunately he can’t face the Panthers every week.
Josh Allen has a lot of fantasy points, but he still can make throws like this:

Aaron Rodgers is 25-of-36 for 265 yards, three touchdowns and a 118.4 passer rating.

Davante Adams has 13 catches for 116 yards and two TDs.
No Danielle Hunter + young CBS = no answers so far for #Vikings D
Russell Wilson up to three touchdown passes middway through the third. His last was a deep pass TOUCHDOWN to D.K. Metcalf on 4th down.
And DK Metcalf totally makes up for it.

Beats Isaiah Oliver for the score.

D’Andre Swift’s first TOUCHDOWN of the season. A one-yard run. Great to see him get that usage despite very few touches.

Mark Andrews TOUCHDOWN number two. All he does is score touchdowns.

Marquise Brown is also off to a blistering start with five receptions for 101 yards before half.
Aaron Rodgers to Davante Adams TOUCHDOWN. Adams is killing it with a 9/102/1 line before halftime.

Rookie Laviska Shenault scores a TOUCHDOWN on a 16-yard reception from Minshew. The rookie is getting a good amount of work with four touches so far.

Marlon Mack carted off with an ankle injury. Not sure of the severity but the cart isn’t good. Taylor should see more work now.
The Jets defense is putrid. John Brown takes a screen 17-yards for the touchdown. Josh Allen is having a HUGE fantasy day with 143 yards passing for two touchdowns and 9 carries for 46 yards rushing and another touchdown in the second half. Start everyone against this Jets team.
Nyheim Hines with his second TOUCHDOWN of the game. This one was through the air for 8 yards. Taylor and Mack backers cry into their soup.
Philip Rivers to Jonathan Taylor for his first NFL touch, 35-yard reception down to the 2-yard line.
Antonio Gibson has done nothing much so far. He has three carries for 1 yard and 1 reception for 2 yards. But he is getting touches. Peyton Barber is the only other back with a touch, as he has two for eight yards.
The Dolphins run game hasn’t shown any improvement so far this season. Jordan Howard has five carries for 6 yards. Seems like Breida should get some work, but so far he’s buried on the depth chart.
Minshew to Chark 6-yard TOUCHDOWN.
Todd Gurley 1-yard TD. Knee is holding up fine today. 8 carries for 56 yards.
Jags RB James Robinson continuing to play well.
Philip Rivers floats one for the interception. That was his trouble last year in L.A.
Parris Campbell leads the Colts with three receptions. So far so good for his PPR work.
Josh Allen 4-yard TOUCHDOWN pass to rookie RB Zack Moss. Moss has two touches to Singletary’s ZERO so far.
Adrian Peterson replacing Kerryon to start this drive. Peterson has shown more so far and Swift isn’t involved coming off the injury.
Cam Newton 4-yard rushing TOUCHDOWN for the Patriots. That’s what he does and he’s still doing it.
The Browns showing some life as Mayfield hits TE Njoku for the 1-yard TD. Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt moving the ball well on the ground.
Russell Wilson to Chris Carson for their second passing TOUCHDOWN of the day. Russ is cooking and Carson is eating.
Jalen Reagor’s first NFL reception goes for 55 yards! That’s exactly what they drafted him for.
Davante Adams with four quick receptions for 39 yards. He’s going to be a target monster as long as he can stay healthy.
TOUCHDOWN Christian McCaffrey. 6-yard run. Ho-hum.
Quintez Cephus already has four targets in place of Kenny Golladay, but also has a drop and just one reception for 20 yards.
Jonathan Taylor still without a touch, as Mack has four carries to Hines’ 3. This isn’t a good sign.
Josh Allen rushing TOUCHDOWN. 2-yards for the score. This is why you draft Allen.
TOUCHDOWN Dalvin Cook. He got paid and now he’s scoring TDs once again.
Russell Wilson to Chris Carson for a 3-yard receiving TOUCHDOWN. Carson had three receptions on that drive.
Adrian Peterson with a 19-yard run to start his Lions career. Can’t keep the old man down.
TOUCHDOWN Josh Jacobs. 1-yard run. Great matchup turns into fantasy points early.
Matt Breida looks to be way down the depth chart at the moment.
Mark Andrews TOUCHDOWN! Great one handed grab from a poor Jackson throw.
Jaguars James Robinson off to a good start, 3/17
TOUCHDOWN - Wentz to Ertz, 5 yards out. We’ve heard that one before.
Eagles now in the RedZone. DeSean Jackson and Goedert with two nice receptions to get there.
Nyheim Hines, not Marlon Mack or Jonathan Taylor starts off the scoring this Sunday with a 12 yard rushing TOUCHDOWN. No Taylor yet.
Welcome to 2020 NFL FOOTBALL!
Todd Gurley getting a big workload to start with three straight runs, totaling 19 yards.
The Fantasy Football season started on Thursday with a strong set of performances for our fake teams. If you rostered Sammy Watkins, Clyde Edwards-Helaire, David Johnson, Patrick Mahomes, DeShaun Watson, Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, Will Fuller or even Jordan Akins, you are off to a solid start in Week 1, congrats!
For this live post, we’ll be highlighting fantasy performances, good and bad, as the Sunday games start rolling. That includes some analysis as we go along about possible pick ups or situations that might call for selling low or high, etc.
We’ll start with some quick thoughts on Thursday night’s game:
Good News
Sammy Watkins once again had a great season opener, as he caught 7-of-9 targets for 82 yards and a touchdown. We know Sammy has these games in him, but he sure didn’t show it at all after Week 1 in the 2019 regular season. He’s a sell high, as Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce remain the top targets in Kansas City.
DeShaun Watson had a down game as his offensive line sucked and he wasn’t exactly pin point in accuracy deep. The good news is that he still outscored Patrick Mahomes who threw for three touchdowns. Those extra two points on a rushing touchdown are huge in fantasy and you should only be worried about Watson getting hurt versus not being ablle to score fantasy points when healthy, even with no Nuk.
Not So Good News
There wasn’t much to take away that can be considered awful news, but the Texans offensive line was offensive. It didn’t hurt Watson, David Johnson or Will Fuller fantasy wise, but it’s going to need to get better if they want to reach their upside.
