Brandin Cooks? In Houston.
Todd Gurley? Atlanta.
Jared Goff? Still the starting quarterback for the Los Angeles Rams.
The shine has worn off Sean McVay and the Rams’ offense the past couple of seasons - really since dating back to their 3-point performance in Super Bowl LIII. While McVay still deserves a lot of credit for his offensive schemes, McVay is limited by the ceiling of his quarterback. But despite draft Cam Akers in the 2nd round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the departure of Todd Gurley could force McVay to see exactly how high Goff’s ceiling might be.
Fantasy Football analysis: Los Angeles Rams, QB, Jared Goff
The Rams host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday Night Football, with each team hoping to bring in an explosive offense. Brandin Cooks might be gone, but the Rams still have Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods at wide receiver along with 2020 rookie out of Florida Van Jefferson. Tight end Tyler Higbee could be a legitimate pass-catching option at tight end, and Cam Akers is an above-average pass-catching runner out of the backfield.
The Cowboys similarly have a lot of talent on the offensive side of their ball, and considering Dallas allowed a 91.9 passer rating against opposing quarterbacks in 2019, this could be a high-scoring game where Jared Goff has a big game, regardless of which team ultimately comes out on top.
