Tale of the Tape for Roosevelt Roberts vs. Kevin Croom

Roberts gets a very short notice opponent in Kevin Croom after Matt Frevola pulls out.

A last minute change at UFC Vegas 10 pairs lightweights Roosevelt Roberts and Kevin Croom in the octagon Saturday for UFC Vegas 10 on ESPN+.

Roosevelt “The Predator” Roberts enters with a 10-2 record. The 26-year-old is considered one of the up-and-coming stars in the lightweight division, with five of his 10 wins coming via submission. He’s been active with six bouts in the last two years, but is just 2-2 in his last four. including a loss to the always-fighting Jim Miller. He started his career 8-0, and he’ll look to get back to those winning ways on Saturday.

Croom brings one of the best nicknames in mixed martial arts history to his UFC debut. “The Hard-Hitting Hillbilly” is 21-12 at age 33, and has won his last three in the Fighting Alliance Championship as well as Bellator. Fighting out of Columbia, Missouri, he has 16 stoppages in his 21 wins, 10 by submission. He’s also fought as at featherweight in his career, but will take on 10 extra pounds here.
