Two experienced men’s lightweight fighters will meet in the octagon on Saturday for UFC Las Vegas 10 on ESPN+. Roosevelt Roberts vs. Matt Frevola will headline a card of entertaining prelim fights.
Roosevelt “The Predator” Roberts is entering the fight with 10-2 record.
The 6-foot-1, 26-year-old Roberts is one of the up-and-coming stars in the lightweight division. The majority of his victories have come via submission. Roberts has fought six times in the last two years.
He’s been active in getting competition but is just 2-2, recording both his losses in his last few bouts. He started his career 8-0, and he’ll look to get back to those winning ways on Saturday.
As for Matt “The Steamrolla” Frevola, he’s entering with an 8-1-1 record. Those eight victories can be tied to four decisions, three submissions and one knockout, so Frevola clearly thrives on long, grind-it-out fights. The last time Frevola fought was October 12, 2019. He was undefeated in 2019 and is primed for his first fight of the year.
Both are orthodox fighters with Frevola being the more aggressive and Roberts being the more accurate.
