The PGA Tour hosts its first major championship since restarting play, with the PGA Championship teeing off Thursday morning at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. The tournament was originally scheduled for May 14-17, but was postponed due to Covid-19.
Tiger Woods will be back for his second tournament since the resumption of play. Three weeks ago, he tied for 40th at the Memorial Tournament with a +6. He barely made the cut, and then struggled to a +4 on Sunday.
The PGA Tour has not announced featured groups for the tournament, but it’s safe to say Woods will be in one of them. Thursday and Friday tee times will be announced on Tuesday afternoon, at which point you can start planning your days around Woods and the rest of what should be a fun weekend at the PGA Championship. We’ll update this article with his tee times as soon as they’re available.
