Jamal Crawford to make Nets debut Tuesday vs. Bucks [UPDATE]

With the Nets down Caris LeVert, Joe Harris and Jarrett Allen, the veteran guard will lace ‘em up for Brooklyn.

UPDATE: Aug. 4, 11:47 a.m. — Veteran SG Jamal Crawford will make his Nets debut Tuesday vs. the Bucks.

Crawford ($4,700) is WAYYYYYY too expensive to trust on DraftKings. He should be priced at $3K. This price is sort of insane. Honestly all the prices on Brooklyn on DK are inflated, which is hurting any type of value. Remember, it’s the Bucks and they’re getting Eric Bledsoe and Pat Connaughton back.

Brooklyn Nets guards Caris LeVert and Joe Harris, and big man Jarrett Allen have been ruled out for Tuesday’s game vs. the Milwaukee Bucks.

LeVert injured his thigh during Sunday’s win over the Wizards and Harris is dealing with a tight back. Both had pretty strong games against Washington. Harris dropped 27 points on 6-7 shooting from outside. LeVert scored 34 points with 7 boards. Allen is just getting rest.

Fantasy basketball and betting impact

From a DFS perspective, the Nets may be incredibly toxic on Tuesday’s slate. Not only are they facing one of the best defensive teams in the NBA, they’d be down 6 rotation players? I’ve lost count at this point. This will make some players appear pretty chalky. Tyler Johnson should get a ton of minutes and usage. Garrett Temple and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot should also get more minutes and offensive touches. Is is also Lance Thomas and Rodions Kurucs chalk night!??!? What a world!

This doesn’t impact the immediate betting lines much. It does impact the Nets O/U for wins in the bubble. Oh wait, no it doesn’t, the Nets weren’t winning this game anyway. So really if LeVert and Harris miss more than one game, the Nets will find it tougher to reach 3 wins. Still, they’ve got one out of two, and the Kings and Magic will be somewhat beatable.
