After three days of protests, the NBA announced the schedule for the return of the postseason on Saturday. The protests began on Wednesday when the Milwaukee Bucks refused to take the court for their Game 5 vs. the Orlando Magic. Following the Bucks’ decision, the rest of the teams playing also decided to protest.
The NBA and Players Association along with the Board of Governors met on Thursday to discuss how to resolve the issues. The players decided it would be best to resume the postseason as long as the NBA and owners made more of an effort to further the fight against racism and social injustice. So the 2020 NBA Playoffs are back and here’s the schedule for this weekend.
Here’s the full schedule from The Athletic’s Shams Charania:

So this is pretty much the same schedule as before except some times have moved around. The Bucks and Magic will play Game 5 at 3:30 p.m. ET followed by Rockets-Thunder and Lakers-Blazers Game 5s. On Sunday, we’ve got the start of the second round with Celtics-Raptors followed by Game 6 of Clippers-Mavericks and Jazz-Nuggets. Remember, the Jazz are up 3-2 and the Clippers are up 3-2 as well. HOU-OKC is tied 2-2, Milwaukee leads Orlando 3-1 and the Lakers are up 3-1.
