Gordon hasn’t played since the middle of the seeding round after sustaining a hamstring injury. He had been questionable for most of the first round against the Milwaukee Bucks. With the Bucks up 3-1 in the series and in light of recent events surrounding the protests of the playoffs, Gordon has left the bubble. Through various reports the past few days, it’s clear that players are emotionally drained and tensions are quite high.
The playoffs are expected to resume sometime in the next two days, either Friday or Saturday. Gordon’s absence doesn’t impact much for the Magic. He hasn’t played all playoffs along with Michael Carter-Williams, who is also expected to be out. So Gary Clark will continue to start at PF for Orlando.
