How to watch Tiger Woods at the BMW Championship

Tiger Woods is playing this week at the BMW Championship. We break down his tee times, and how to watch him on television and via live online stream.

The PGA Tour returns to action on Thursday for the second round of its annual FedExCup Playoffs this week with the BMW Championship at Olympia Fields just outside Chicago. The top 70 golfers in the world square off, with the top 30 on the points leaderboard advancing to next week’s BMW Championship.

Tiger Woods is ranked No. 57 on the FedExCup points leaderboard and will be competing for his record third FedExCup Championship. He finished tied for 58th last week at The Northern Trust, and this week will mark the first time in a year that he has played two straight weeks on the PGA Tour. He will need a strong finish this week if he wants to advance to next week’s season-ending TOUR Championship.

The tournament tees off at 12:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, and Woods will get underway at 1:14 p.m. at Hole No. 10. His partners for the first two rounds are Carlos Ortiz and Bubba Watson. On Friday, they will tee off at Hole No. 1 at 2:09 p.m. Saturday and Sunday groups will be determined by results after 36 holes and after 54 holes. There will be no cut for this tournament, so Woods will be playing into the weekend.

The BMW Championship will air on Golf Channel and NBC this week. Golf Channel will have coverage from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, 12-3 p.m. on Saturday, and 1-3 p.m. on Sunday. NBC will pick up coverage on Saturday from 3-6 p.m. and on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. PGA Tour Live will offer a live stream all four days of the featured groups.
