Lowry left early in Game 4 due to the ankle injury and was unable to return to the game. With Lowry sidelined, the Raptors were fine, blowing out the Nets to complete the four-game sweep. Norman Powell stepped up and started the second half with Fred VanVleet moving to PG. This would be a big hit for the defending champs but one that they are well equipped to sustain. Toronto has a very deep roster throughout.
UPDATE: Lowry will not return to the game after turning his left ankle.

Toronto Raptors PG Kyle Lowry has gone to the locker room due to an apparent lower-body injury in the first quarter of Game 4 vs. the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday evening. Lowry appeared to pull something taking the ball up the court. He tried to stay in the game but pulled up limping again and ran to the locker room on his own. It didn’t look great for the Raptors PG, who had been playing fantastic in the first round vs. the Nets.
The Raptors lead the series 3-0 and looking to close things out in Game 4 with a sweep. So far so good with Toronto leading by a small margin as the first quarter comes to a close. If Lowry can’t come back, that would be more of a long-term issue than in this series, which is basically over. If Lowry misses any time, the Raptors have depth to cover for him. Fred VanVleet would shift over to PG and we’d see more of Norman Powell and Terence Davis.
At $8,100, if Lowry can’t come back he’d finish with 13 fantasy points. Obviously that isn’t what you want. If you took a shot at Norman Powell at $4,700, he could pay off huge if Lowry doesn’t return. Powell is already up to 13 fantasy points after the first quarter.
