The NBA Draft Lottery took place on Thursday night as we look ahead to the end of the season. The 2020 NBA Draft will take place on Friday, October 16th and the team selecting No. 1 overall will be the Minnesota Timberwolves. They’ll have a shot to select one of the top prospects in the NBA Draft.

LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards have been atop most of the NBA Mock Drafts. Ball is a hybrid guard-forward who projects as a potential All-Star playmaker. Edwards, a George product, projects as a solid combo guard who could blossom into a premier scoring guard in the NBA.

The NBA Draft Lottery included the eight teams who were note invited into the NBA bubble in Orlando, plus the six teams who were eliminated from the playoffs during the seeding round. We know that the Minnesota Timberwolves will select No. 1 overall, but here’s the complete lottery order.

1. Minnesota Timberwolves
2. Golden State Warriors
3. Charlotte Hornets
4. Chicago Bulls
5. Cleveland Cavaliers
6. Atlanta Hawks
7. Detroit Pistons
8. New York Knicks
9. Washington Wizards
10. Phoenix Suns
11. San Antonio Spurs
12. Sacramento Kings
13. New Orleans Pelicans
14. Boston Celtics
