The Orlando Magic shocked the world by knocking off the Milwaukee Bucks in their 2020 postseason debut. They’ll get a chance to go up 2-0 on Friday in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series. We’ll go over the top Showdown lineup strategies for the DraftKings contests centered around the game here. Tip is at 6 p.m., and you can set your DraftKings lineup here.
Captain’s picks
If you think Giannis Antetokounmpo ($20,100) will bounce back from his latest loss and put up a historic stat line, he’s worth captaining. The reigning MVP nearly notched a triple-double in Game 1, but only had 3.3 more DKFP than Nikola Vucevic ($16,500). Antetokounmpo’s price will handcuff you when it comes to fitting quality players in the flex. If he doesn’t outdo every player in the game by a large margin, he’s not worth paying up for. Vucevic is the better option in my opinion, and he’ll be even more desirable if Aaron Gordon sits for a second straight game.
Flex
There’s a ton of value in this game because of Orlando’s cheap starters this game. Markelle Fultz ($5,400) and D.J. Augustin ($5,000) produced against a Milwaukee team that’s struggled to defend opposing point guards in Game 1. I think playoff D.J. can keep his mojo going despite coming off the bench while the Magic only have two point guards. If Gordon can’t go, a wing like James Ennis ($4,800) could easily play more than 30 minutes.
