It’s the undercard heavyweight bout at UFC 252 this Saturday as two ranked opponents look to get in the title mix as Junior dos Santos faces Jairzinho Rozenstruik. But is this a good spot for DFS players?
DraftKings DFS Salaries
Junior dos Santos: $8,400
Jairzinho Rozenstruik: $7,800
Dos Santos enters as a -136 favorite on the money line, with “Bigi Boy” Rozenstruik the underdog at +108.
Rozenstruik was averaging 96 DFS points per outing in four UFC bouts until he got his clocked cleaned by Francis Ngannou on May 9th and was finished in the first round. But dos Santos. The same issue for dos Santos, who was getting 93 points per until losing his last two bouts and getting stopped.
It’s Rozenstruik’s absurd power against dos Santos’s higher activity, plus being a small favorite here. You could argue Rozenstruik’s KO of Alastair Overeem was a bit lucky, and what Ngannou did to him might be more indicative of his actual ability. We’ll be on dos Santos here, looking for him to return to his early-stoppage ways.
Either way, the judges can take a bathroom break for this one. They certainly won’t be needed.
