Tale of the tape for Chris Daukaus vs. Parker Porter

UPDATE: Fight day odds and betting splits for Daukaus-Porter

The first of three heavyweight fights at UFC 252 features a pair of promotion newcomers as Chris Daukaus faces Parker Porter live from Las Vegas and the UFC Apex facility.

Daukaus has fought as high as 262 lbs. previously, but came in at 241 during the weigh-in. The 30-year-old from Philadelphia is 8-3 in MMA, having won six of his last seven, and has seven knockout wins in his career. Fighting most recently out of the Cage Fury Fighting Championships promotion, he has only seen a decision once in his career.

Porter is five years older than his opponent, and enters with a 9-5 career record. He hasn’t had a decision as a winner or loser since the second fight of his career in 2008, and he has four wins via knockout and four via submission. His three most recent fights are with the CES MMA promotion, and he has a 3-1 career record since returning from a 30-month respite between 2015-18.
