The PGA Tour is headed into the weekend at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, NOrth Carolina. The Wyndham Championship is reaching the halfway point with a big contingent atop the leaderboard. Tom Hoge, Si Woo Kim, Talor Gooch, and Billy Horschel are all tied with a -10 through 36 holes. They’re followed by Harris English, Shane Lowry, Andrew Landry, Doc Redman, and Harold Varner III all at -9. With six more golfers at -8 and nine more at -7, we could have some drama this weekend.
The cut line moved between -2 and -3 on Friday, before finally setting at -3 for the tournament. 77 golfers are headed into the weekend following the cut.
Tee times and groupings in the first two rounds of PGA tournaments using a merit system based on a player’s status on the Tour. Tee times and groupings for the third and fourth rounds of tournaments are based on the leaderboard in the preceding round.
Because of inclement weather, the tournament has moved up the tee times and has gone to threesomes off both Tee #1 and Tee #10.
