The 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs got underway Tuesday afternoon, and we had a marathon right out of the gate. The Tampa Bay Lightning and Columbus Blue Jackets were the first game to start, with the puck dropping at 3 p.m., but it did not wrap until nearly 10 p.m. The game went into five overtimes, with the Lightning winning 3-2 a minute before it became the longest game in modern NHL history.

The length of the game coupled with the hub city model resulted in the Bruins-Hurricanes 8 p.m. game getting moved to Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. The move gives us five games on Wednesday, with the evening planned to wrap with Canucks vs. Blues at 10:30 p.m.

We’ve got a rundown of how to watch each series, along with DraftKings Sportsbook odds and betting splits for each series.

(5) Carolina Hurricanes vs. (4) Boston Bruins

Game time: 11 a.m.
Channel: NBCSN
Live stream: NBC Sports Live
Odds: BOS -132, CAR +112

Final score: The Bruins won 4-3 when Patrice Bergeron scored a game-winner in double overtime.

The Bruins are -134 favorites to win the game. They are getting 67 percent of handle on the game and 55 percent of total bets. Bruins forward David Pastrnak and goalie Tuukka Rask sat out Monday’s practice, but both are expected to be good to go for Game 1.

(6) New York Islanders vs. (3) Washington Capitals

Game time: 3 p.m.
Channel: NBCSN
Live stream: NBC Sports Live
Odds: NYI +115, WAS -134

Final score: The Islanders won 4-2 thanks to a goal and assist by Josh Bailey.

The Capitals are -134 favorites to win the game, and are getting 55 percent of the handle and 64 percent of total bets. Caps center Lars Eller is wrapping up his quarantine and won’t play in Game 1, while defenseman John Carlson is a game-time decision. The Islanders expect to have Johnny Boychuk back in the lineup for the game, per beat writer Andrew Gross.

(7) Arizona Coyotes vs. (2) Colorado Avalanche

Game time: 5:30 p.m.
Channel: NBCSN
Live stream: NBC Sports Live
Odds: ARI +150, COL -177

The Avalanche are -177 favorites to win the game, and are getting 95 percent of the handle and 87 percent of total bets. It’s worth noting DraftKings Sportsbook launched in Colorado this year, which likely accounts for the huge split. The Avalanche have not announced their starting goaltender between Philipp Grubauer and Pavel Francouz. Arizona will start Darcy Kuemper in goal, but will be without backup Antti Raanta. Adin Hill will serve as the backup.

(8) Montreal Canadiens vs. (1) Philadelphia Flyers

Game time: 8 p.m.
Channel: NBCSN
Live stream: NBC Sports Live
Odds: MTL +125, PHI -148

The Flyers are -148 favorites to win the game, and are getting 96 percent of the handle and 87 percent of total bets. It’s worth noting DraftKings Sportsbook does huge business in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, which likely accounts for the huge split. The Flyers got forward Jakub Voracek back in practice on Tuesday, but would not comment on his availability for Game 1, per reporter Stephen Whyno.

(5) Vancouver Canucks vs. (4) St. Louis Blues

Game time: 10:30 p.m.
Channel: NBCSN
Live stream: NBC Sports Live
Odds: VAN +130, STL -150

The Blues are -150 favorites to win the game, and are getting 68 percent of the handle and 72 percent of total bets. Blues reserve forward Sammy Blais did not practice on Monday, per reporter Tom Timmerman, while the Canucks will be without reserve forwards Tyler Toffoli and Micheal Ferland, per broadcaster Brendan Batchelor.
