The Oakland Athletics and Los Angeles Angels will play Wednesday at 4:10 p.m. ET. Righty Chris Bassitt will face righty Griffin Canning at Angel Stadium. DraftKings will have Showdown DFS contests available for the matchup. We break down the ideal lineup strategy below, and you can play here.

Captain’s Picks

Chriss Bassitt, P, Athletics: $15,600

Bassit hasn’t been overpowering, but he has been able to hold teams to just two earned runs through 16.2 innings while striking out 15. He wasn’t stretched out in his initial game against the Angels, but did hold them scoreless through four innings while striking out five bak on July 27th. He is pitching too well to not consider, but he is more in line for GPPs than cash games against the Angels.

Matt Chapman, 3B, Athletics: $14,700

Griffin Canning has good stuff, but he is erratic, walking six Rangers through 3.2 innings in his last start. In his short career, he’s allowed 1.29 HR/9, while Chapman is hitting righties with ease this season. His .391 wOBA, .357 ISO and six home runs easily lead the team when facing right-handed pitchers this season.

Utility Picks

Robbie Grossman, OF, Athletics: $4,400

Grossman is right up there with Chapman against righties this season with a .499 wOBA, .417 OBP and .231 ISO. While Grossman is this cheap, it’s hard not to throw him in your lineup today.

Tony Kemp, OF, Athletics: $6,800

Kemp has a .483 OBP against righties this season, giving him a decent shot at a good floor. He’s not going to hit for power, but he’ll get on base and is a threat to steal. He’s maybe a little too expensive for his low upside, but he’ll do in a pinch.
