Green Bay Packers roster updates from training camp

NFL training camp is underway and rosters will be pared down to the 53-player maximum. We’ll break down the moves as the Green Bay Packers sort out their roster decisions.

NFL training camp is under way and that means news will start flowing from each team. How that news will be distributed in the time of Covid-19 restrictions is still to be seen, but news will get out one way or the other. We’ll take that news and give you our fantasy and betting analysis. And that news and analysis, including roster moves, injuries, all the way to hype videos, will be disseminated right here, on this very page for the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers made some noise this offseason by not drafting a wide receiver, which was a big need. And instead of a wide receiver, they drafted a quarterback in the first round and then yet another running back in the second round. Those first two picks, Jordan Love and A.J. Dillon, won’t even start this season unless there is an injury to Aaron Rodgers or Aaron Jones.

It sure looks like the team looked to the future in the draft despite winning 13 games and their division last year. This year looks like it will need to be vintage Rodgers if the team wants to get back to their 2019 record.
