The Philadelphia Flyers and Montreal Canadiens open their first round series on Tuesday as the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs get underway. The series takes place in the Toronto hub city, with the Flyers getting to wear their home jerseys for four of the seven games.

The Flyers are the No. 1 seed after sweeping their three round robin games. The Canadiens were the 12th seed in the qualifying round and stunned the Pittsburgh Penguins in four games. Philadelphia enters the series as a -240 favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook against the +195 Canadiens. The betting public is backing the Flyers big in this one, with 92 percent of the handle and 89 percent of total bets. It’s worth noting DK does huge business in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, which is likely influencing the split.

Game 1 of the series gets going at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, and the public is all over the Flyers to get off to a strong start. Philly is -148 on the money line and is getting 98 percent of handle and 90 percent of bets. The Flyers are -1.5 on the puck line and are getting 98 percent of handle and 63 percent of bets to cover that line. Bettors think this will be a low-scoring contest with under 5.5 goals getting 95 percent of the handle and 68 percent of total bets.

Flyers forward Jakub Voracek is questionable for the game after being ruled unfit to play in the round robin finale. He was dealing with an inconclusive test and was expected to go through a practice session on Monday.
