The Orlando Magic just took another big hit on their roster. G Terrence Ross is leaving the NBA bubble in Orlando due to personal reasons, Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes reported Monday afternoon. Ross has a medical issue unrelated to Covid-19, so he is leaving to seek off-site medical tests.

The Magic have already lost Jonathan Isaac for the rest of the season and Aaron Gordon is dealing with a strained hamstring. Ross will likely have to quarantine upon returning to the NBA bubble in Orlando, likely for at least 10 days before being able to play again. That would mean the Magic could be without Ross for a few games to start their first-round series.
The Magic have two games this week starting Tuesday with the Nets. After that, they take on the Pelicans before ending the seeding round. In those two games without Ross, we should see plenty of D.J. Augustin, Markelle Fultz, James Ennis and Wes Iwundu. As for someone who could fill in at SG behind Evan Fournier, who is also dealing with an injury, we’ve got Melvin Frazier Jr. The Tulane product played 19 minutes against the Celtics on Sunday, scoring 8 points.
