Opening odds for first round series in 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs

The puck drops on Tuesday for the start of the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs. We’ve got a rundown of odds for each series and Game 1s.

The Stanley Cup Playoffs get underway Tuesday afternoon when the puck drops at 3 p.m. ET for the Columbus Blue Jackets vs. the Tampa Bay Lightning. The playoffs will feature at least four games per day through next Monday, August 17th. The lack of travel means we’ll be at “if necessary” Game 5s by the 18th.

DraftKings Sportsbook has unveiled opening odds for each series, including series lines and lines for Game 1. The playoffs are entirely on neutral ice now that Toronto and Edmonton have been eliminated. While a team no longer needs to worry about “losing” home ice, they still want to get an early win on the board.

The tightest odds belong to Stars-Flames, with Calgary an even-money underdog, and a -105 underdog in Game 1. The Blackhawks have the longest odds when they face off against the Golden Knights.
