The Cincinnati Reds and Detroit Tigers will play Saturday at 1:10 p.m. ET. Tigers’ righty Michael Fulmer will host righty Trevor Bauer and the Reds. DraftKings will have Showdown DFS contests available for the matchup. We break down the ideal lineup strategy below, and you can play here.

Captain’s Picks

Trevor Bauer, P, Reds: $17,700

Bauer went 6.1 innings in his first start, which came against these same Tigers, striking out an amazing 13 batters. He got a no decision after giving up just two hits, including a solo shot to Nick Goodrum. Facing Michael Fulmer should also help his chances to notch a win tonight.

Utility Picks

Shogo Akiyama, OF, Reds: $5,800

Akiyama has hit in the lead off spot for the Reds in their last three games. He should get another shot at leadoff tonight against righty Fulmer, and at his price, it’s hard to pass on him if he is batting first.

JaCoby Jones, OF, Tigers: $7,000

Jones has four multi-hit games and three home runs so far this season. I’d rather him not hit ninth like he has been, but he’s been putting up outstanding numbers. He’s also hit righties well, with a .223 ISO and .339 wOBA against them last season.

Mike Moustakas, 2B/3B, Reds: $9,000

Moustakas is off to a fast start, with two home runs and six RBIs. Over the last three seasons, the lefty has hit righties for a .345 wOBA and a .255 ISO. He’ll be facing righty Michael Fulmer, who gave up three home runs in just over two innings in his first appearance. In his 72 innings pitched last season, he gave up 1.88 HR/9 and a .339 wOBA to lefties.
