Will the Kings go over or under their win total in the bubble?

Can the Kings hit the over on the expected win total DraftKings Sportsbook has set? The odds are stacked against them.

The NBA is moving closer and closer to the restart of the season in Orlando. Teams have reported to the bubble in Disney World and training camps are set to begin on July 9, running through July 29 before scrimmages occur. After all of that, we’ll get basketball! DraftKings Sportsbook has win totals posted for each team’s eight-game regular-season schedule. We break down whether the Sacramento Kings.

Will the Kings go over or under their win total?

Over 3.5 +175
Under 3.5 -240

Schedule: SAS, ORL, DAL, NOP, BKN, HOU, NOP, LAK

Vegas is expecting Sacramento to fall flat on its face. No $100 over bet would win you more money than betting on the Kings to secure at least four victories, and no under has more juice than -240. The young team has a difficult schedule and would likely have to notch a few upsets to make the playoffs.

The Dallas Mavericks, Houston Rockets, and Los Angeles Lakers are clearly better than the Kings. They all have at least one All-NBA talent. Sacramento was able to steal a game from Dallas and Houston during the regular season, but will De’Aaron Fox be able to power them to success in a playoff environment away from home? A team with so little big-game experience doesn’t have the best odds of beating two of the most promising Western Conference contenders.

Even if the Kings lose all three of those games, there are five games left. Two of those games will be against a New Orleans Pelicans that many expect to make a convincing playoff run with Jrue Holiday, Zion Williamson, and Brandon Ingram. The depleted Brooklyn Nets give Sacramento its best chance to get a win, and the San Antonio Spurs won’t have LaMarcus Aldridge because of a shoulder injury. The return of Marvin Bagley III could boost Sacramento’s chances if he’s healthy, but the 21-year-old hasn’t played since January. I don’t think the Kings will rise to the occasion in this instance.

Prediction: UNDER 3.5 wins
