NASCAR driver Corey LaJoie elected to drive a car emblazoned with Trump 2020 on it at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and things did not end well. In the early-going of the Big Machine 400 at the Brickyard, LaJoie got into an accident in pit row and was out after 15 laps of racing.
The accident ended his day, as well as that of Ryan Preece, Martin Truex Jr., Justin Allgaier, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and Brennan Poole. One of Ryan Blaney’s tiremen got side-swiped in the accident, but appears to be OK.
A huge mess at @oreillyauto Pit Reporter @BradGillie's in. He reports a jack is in the middle of pit road. Both JTG cars, Allgaier, Truex Jr and Corey LaJoie were involved. One of Ryan Blaney's crew member was hit during the incident. pic.twitter.com/FjttIutKTF
