Two Eastern Conference powerhouses are set to face off in Friday’s second NBA game. The Boston Celtics will take on the Milwaukee Bucks. DraftKings will have Showdown DFS contests available. We go over some of the best lineup strategy options here.
Captain’s Picks
The masses will likely captain reigning MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo ($17,400). Only James Harden has tallied more fantasy points than Antetokounmpo. While he could have a monster game and stuff the stat sheet, Boston has a ton of versatile forwards to throw at him, but he usually brings his best to the table.
Another option worth consideration is Kemba Walker ($12,900). The All-Star guard is expected to be on a minutes restriction, but could fill it up with Eric Bledsoe (conditioning) not playing. Walker will likely be a less popular play because of his lack of exposure and Milwaukee’s elite defense against point guards, but taking a chance could pay off in a big way here.
FLEX Options
Jayson Tatum ($10,000) is a must-have here as Boston’s leading scorer. He could have to carry more of an offensive load with Walker playing limited minutes and will also be needed on the boards and defensively against Antetokounmpo. He’ll likely lead the Celtics in minutes and could get a ton of exposure.
One Buck worth keeping an eye on is Donte DiVincenzo ($5,600). He got hot in March before the season was shut down, and George Hill ($3,800) can’t handle full-time point guard duties. He can do a little bit of everything and should get a scoring boost with Bledose not playing.
