The Nashville Predators and Arizona Coyotes square off on Sunday, August 2nd to open their five-game qualifying round series. The winner advances to the Stanley Cup Playoffs, while the loser is entered into the NHL Draft lottery.

The Predators enter the series as -139 favorites against the +115 Coyotes at DraftKings Sportsbook. The two teams split their matchups during the regular season, and the public is backing the favorite in this series. 67 percent of bets and 71 percent of handle is on Nashville.

We have a curious split in betting on Game 1 of this series. The Predators are -1.5 on the puck line and are getting 92 percent of handle and 63 percent of bets to cover. However, on the money line, we have a split between bets and handle. 78 percent of total bets are on Nashville (-127), but 88 percent of money bet is on the +110 Coyotes.
