The NHL is officially back and the Stanley Cup Playoffs are just around the corner. The puck drops for the qualifying round this Saturday, August 1, and the league is wrapping up its exhibition schedule on Thursday.
Each of the 24 teams competing for the Stanley Cup will play one exhibition game over the course of three days. Below is a list of games for Thursday, July 29. We’ve got game time and television channel info, and also which ones allow for a live online stream at NHL.TV. We’ve also added DraftKings Sportsbook odds for each game, and we’ll update with notable results, injuries, and anything else of note as each game wraps up.
Nashville Predators vs. Dallas Stars, 4 p.m. | NHLN, NHL.TV
Result: Predators 2, Stars 0 — Viktor Arvidsson scored two goals in the win. Pekka Rinne stopped all 13 shots in 29:28 of play and Juuse Saros stopped all 12 shots in 30:32 of play.
