Captain
Zven ($11,700)
This price for Zven is quite good. Zven is one of the best players in the LCS, playing for one of the best teams in the LCS. Zven has the second-best KDA in the summer split so far. He has 3.67 kills and 6 assists, solid offensive metrics, but he sets himself apart with just 0.67 deaths per game, allowing his KDA to balloon up to 14.5!
Other to consider: Nisqy ($11,400)
Top
Hauntzer ($6,000)
Wherever possible, stack away from Cloud9. In other positions, try to find ways to allow that stacking process to happen. At top laner, for example, Hauntzer should be a value-for-money pick, increasing your average salary remaining per player. Hauntzer has struggled in summer but there’s no reason he can’t meet his fantasy average of 13.5 DKFP per game.
Others to consider: Ssumday ($6,400)
Jungler
Blaber ($7,000)
Blaber has been so good this season that he leads the LCS in kills, posting 6 per game. He has a kill participation rate of 12.67 and just 1.83 deaths a game. These are stunning numbers for any position but for a jungler, this is very impressive. Cloud9 shouldn’t lose this game, taking their unbeaten split run to seven maps.
Others to consider: Closer ($6,200)
Mid
Nisqy ($7,600)
This will probably be the last Cloud9 player in your slate, but you’ve already drafted their bot laner, jungler and mid laner, which is more than half the team. Nisqy has a KDA of 12.17, the same as his kill participation rate because he has averaged just one death a game. He has averaged 31.7 DKFP per game, comfortably the highest for mid laners in this slate.
Others to consider: Ryoma ($7,200)
ADC
Cody Sun ($7,400)
Here is where you try and save some money. Normally, you would be spending more on the bot laner, but not in this slate. Cody Sun and 100 Thieves have struggled this season. However, there is quality in their roster, which should help turn around some of their underwhelming early-split form.
Others to consider: FBI ($7,000)
Support
Huhi ($5,000)
The Golden Guardians have won just two of six games in summer so far. That’s not high. There is a change coming, though. Huhi has averaged 0.5 kills and 5 assists per game. He needs that assist rate to go up in order to increase his value.
Team
100 Thieves ($5,200)
Cloud9 ($5,800) is obviously the preferred target but if you don’t have the budget remaining for that, then 100 Thieves shouldn’t be a bad choice, either. They have lost five of six games in summer but they have got gradually better as the season has progressed. This should be their second win of the season.
