The last bout on the preliminary card at UFC Fight Night this Saturday involves two bantamweights looking to distinguish themselves as Frankie Saenz takes on Jonathan Martinez live from Las Vegas and the UFC Apex facililty.

Saenz enters the octagon with a 12-6 record, 5-4 in the UFC. The former Arizona State and Northern Colorado wrestler has five career stoppages, but none in the UFC. He averages 3.97 strikes per minute and 1.77 takedowns per three rounds in the promotion. His last fight was in March of 2019, where he was knocked out in the first round by Marlon Vera.

Martinez is 11-3, and 2-2 in the UFC. With eight career stoppages, the 26-year-old out of Plainview, Texas averages 3.67 strikes per minute and 0.67 takedowns per 15 minutes in the octagon. His last fight was a controversial split decision loss to Andre Ewell at UFC 247 in February, and he prefers to fight in the standup. This should be a classic matchup of grappler vs. striker.
