A ranked welterweight that’s been on a hot streak looks to keep ascending the rankings when #12 Vicente Luque fights Randy Brown this Saturday at UFC Fight Night on ESPN live from Las Vegas and the UFC Apex facility.

Luque is 18-7-1 as an MMA professional, with an impressive 11-3 record in the UFC. Fighting in the promotion since 2015, the 28-year-old Brazilian is more of a standup specialist than most of his countrymen, with a 5.66 strikes per minute average against just 0.73 takedowns per three rounds. He’s won seven of his last eight bouts, and has a chance to crack the Top 10 in a budding division with a victory. His 10 career KO’s and six submissions in 18 wins are an indication of his exciting style

Brown is 12-3 overall with a 6-3 mark in the UFC, and has 10 career stoppages as well. The Jamaican won Performance of The Night in his last outing for a triangle choke of Warlley Alves in the second round. “Rudeboy” lands 3.41 strikes per minute against 0.95 takedowns per 15 minutes, and has been in the promotion since January of 2016.
