Indiana Pacers C Domantas Sabonis has a significant foot injury and will leave the NBA bubble in Orlando to see a specialist, ESPN’s ADRIAN WOJNAROWSKI reported Friday evening. Yes, Woj is back everyone!

First, it’s nice to see Woj back after suspension and breaking news. Second, this is not so great news for the Pacers, who will be in danger of dropping down in the East standings without their All-Star center. Sabonis was the anchor down low for Indiana. Now, it looks like Myles Turner will be leaned on heavily in the front court.

JaKarr Sampson started at center for the Pacers in their scrimmage win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday. He finished with 7 points and 4 rebounds in 22 minutes. Sampson may end up starting. T.J. Warren should see more time at PF, so the Pacers could also opt for a smaller lineup in the return. Alize Johnson is the other front court name to monitor.
