The NHL playoffs will get underway on August 1st with the qualifying round and top-4 seeding round robin, but we’ll get a few days of hockey before then. Each team is going to play one exhibition game against another team to close out the summer training camps.
The first three games are on Tuesday, July 28th, with the Penguins and Flyers, Maple Leafs and Canadiens, and Oilers and Flames. There will be six games on July 29th, and then three more on July 30th. The Eastern Conference exhibition games will take place at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto and the Western Conference exhibition games will take place at Rogers Place in Edmonton.
