The Kansas City Chiefs and Green bay Packers will face off in a Madden simulation Monday at 8 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest. You can set your lineup and play in the DraftKings contest before kickoff.
Captain’s Pick
Demarcus Robinson, Chiefs ($5,250)
Robinson’s price just took a nosedive after a subpar outing in New Orleans, which is great for us. He’s topped double-digit DK points in eight of his last 11 games and hit highs of 34.8, 25.5 and 34.6. His crazy price has me locking him into the Captain’s spot so I can grab players like Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes and Davante Adams.
Flex options
Davante Adams, Packers ($10,100)
Adams would be my preferred Captain, but his price makes it a little tough. If you feel good with a lineup with Adams at the top, I’m on board. Adams and Aaron Rodgers do their best work in Green Bay and despite some down home games of late, this one sets up well for a high-scoring affair.
Damien Williams, Chiefs ($10,350)
Williams is a wildcard but his upside is strong and this is a good matchup for the run game. Williams is coming off a game in New Orleans where he rushed for 131 yards and a touchdown and has some extremely high DK point totals in the simulation.
Sammy Watkins, Chiefs ($6,300)
Watkins continues to do well on the road, averaging three more DK points away from Arrowhead Stadium. He’s topped 14 DK points in three of his last four games and is consistent for his low price.
