The Atlanta Falcons and New York Jets will face off in a simulated Madden 20 game Saturday 4 p.m., and DraftKings will have DFS contests available for the matchup. We break down the ideal showdown lineup strategy for the contest, which you can play at DraftKings.

Captain’s Pick

Julio Jones, Falcons ($17,700)

Jones has extremely high upside and this is a good matchup for him. The last time they took on the Jets, Jones caught seven passes for 141 yards but didn’t get into the end zone. Now the Falcons play on the road where Jones averages five more DK points per game.

Flex options

Robby Anderson, Jets ($8,000)

The Falcons are weak against the pass as well, so I’m hoping for a shootout, which Anderson probably needs to reach his upside, which is sky high but also inconsistent. He managed a crazy three receiving touchdowns the last time these two met and there’s a good chance the game will set up for a similar game script this time around.

Russell Gage, Falcons ($3,600)

Gage is super cheap and we need his value top afford Jones in the Captain’s spot. Gage, as his price infers, isn’t consistent, but this is a matchup where he could close on his ceiling. He’s had 19.4 and 14.1 DK points games over his last three and averages nine DK points per game despite his low salary cap hit.

Sam Darnold, Jets ($9,600)

Darnold doesn’t have the upside of Matt Ryan or the consistency, but I expect him to do well in this matchup and he’s $1,800 cheaper. Darnold is all over the place in his game log but he did throw three touchdowns the last time these teams met and has hit 25.8 and 32.2 DK points games over his last three matchups.
