A pair of lightweights that aren’t afraid of grappling will face off when Davi Ramos faces Arman Tsarukyan at UFC Fight Night on ESPN this Saturday in Abu Dhabi on Fight Island.

Ramos is 10-3 overall and 4-2 in the UFC. He’s never been stopped in his career, but has dished out seven submissions and a knockout. “The Tasmanian Devil” is from Rio de Janeiro, and will look to put his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills on display once again. He averages 2.42 takedowns per 15 minutes with a 50% accuracy when shooting, but has defended 100% of the shots against him.

The Russian Tsarukyan is favored and 14-2 overall, with a 1-1 record in the UFC via a pair of fights that went the distance. He’s averaged 1.5 takedowns per 15 minutes, but just a 13% accuracy on those while repelling 66% of attempted groundings. This seems like a fight destined for the mat, and Tsarukyan does have five submissions and five takedowns in his career.
