UPDATE: We’ll be tracking his week at Memorial here.

The PGA Tour remains in Dublin, Ohio this week at Muirfield Golf Club for the biggest tournament since the season restarted. A loaded field will play in the Memorial Tournament, headlined by Tiger Woods’ return to the pro tour.

Woods last played a Tour event in February when he finished 68th at The Genesis Invitational. He played six events in the 2019-2020 calendar prior to the Covid-19 suspension. During the suspended season, he teamed up with Peyton Manning to defeat Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady in The Match: Champions For Charity. Now, he returns for Tour competition.

It’s not surprising he picked the Memorial for his return. In a career loaded with success, he’s done some big things at Muirfield Golf Club. Woods has won the Memorial five times, including three straight from 1999 to 2001. He also won it in 2009 and 2001. He’s been hit or miss in recent years, with injuries keeping him out of the 2014, 2016, and 2017 events.

His last five appearances at the Memorial have been a bit all over the place. Here are his results the last five appearances dating back to 2012.
