The Cincinnati Bengals and New York Giants will face off in a Madden sim Monday at 2:00 p.m. ET. We break down the ideal Showdown lineup strategy for the DFS contest. You can set your lineup and play at DraftKings before kickoff.

Captain’s Picks

Andy Dalton and A.J. Green rarely light it up, but another player could thrive against New York in this game. Tyler Boyd ($11,400) has often been the Bengals, most productive pass catcher and can give you a ton of flexibility to fill out the rest of your roster. The Giants have more desirable options to play in the flex.

Saquon Barkley ($14,100) is the do-it-all back that many will opt to play in the captain’s spot because of his heavy workload and versatility. He has breakaway speed, can shed tackles, and can be elusive as well.

Flex Men

Daniel Jones ($10,800) might not have the best overall rating, but the weapons he has around him are far superior than what Cincinnati has had to offer this sim season. It can be hard to guess who is most likely to get going between Golden Tate, Sterling Shepard, and Darius Slayton, but Evan Engram ($8,000) is one of the most explosive tight ends in the game and reaches double-digits in DKFP pretty consistently.

One player that’s seen some significant upward mobility as of late is Giovani Bernard (XXX). The RB2 plays second fiddle to Joe Mixon on the depth chart, but has looked like the Bengals’ best option out of the backfield thanks to his PPR upside
