Petr Yan is 14-1, 6-0 in the UFC, with seven stoppages in his career. He’s a striker that averaging 5.65 punches landed per minute in the octagon, and 1.73 takedowns per 15 minutes. His KO kick of Urijah Faber in November got him the #3 spot in the Bantamweight division, and tonight he fights as the favorite to be the champion
Aldo has held the belt before and was the inaugural UFC featherweight champion in 2010. He defended his title seven times before being dropped by Conor McGregor in 2015. Since that KO he’s 3-4 in the UFC, but is one of the most respected fighters in MMA ever with a 28-6 record. Though he lands only 3.47 strikes per minute, his takedown defense of 91% is elite, and his blend of jiu-jitsu and muay thai make him an elite fighter even as an underdog.
