There will be four La Liga games set for Wednesday. While none of the top contenders will be playing, we could see Villareal creep into the top five. DraftKings Sportsbook has the betting splits available for the mid-week lineup, and we’ll go over the details for the slate here.
Bettors heavily favored sixth place Villareal (+145) to come out on top against against Real Bettis. A win would help them move past Getafe to claim the fifth spot in the standings. Villareal has won four games and tied one since league play resumed in June, and its unbeaten streak has helped it claim 85 percent of the handle of the bets centered around Wednesday’s game. Villareal also has 60 percent of the total bets against Real Bettis, which has lost three of its last five games.
The handle is split pretty evenly in half the games on this slate, but 59 percent of the money on the the Valencia-Athletic Club Bilbao game is on eighth place Valencia. Valencia also accounts for 60 percent of the total bets against ninth place Bilbao. Bilbao is only one point behind, and both sides could maintain spots in the top 10 with a draw. Only 14 percent of the handle and 20 percent of the total bets are on a tie.
One of the better bets you can make is on Granada at +245 against Alaves, it commands 58 percent of the handle. Both sides have won one game since June, but Granada is the better defensive team and tallied a 3-0 win against 16th place Alaves in December. Alaves has 41 percent of the total bets, but banking on a Granada win could get you some serious bang for your buck.
