Villanova forward Saddiq Bey has officially declared for the 2020 NBA Draft after announcing it on social media Tuesday morning.

Bey is coming off his sophomore season for the Wildcats, a season Villanova had hoped would have finished in a later round of the NCAA Tournament. Instead, the tourney was canceled and now Nova is losing its leading scorer. Bey averaged 16.1 points and 4.7 rebounds while shooting 45.1% from downtown in his second collegiate year.

At 6’8” Bey is in the mold of typical 3-and-D prospects for the NBA. His outlook is good and it appears Bey could go in the late lottery. He’s definitely an intriguing prospect overall. Bey possesses the athleticism to guard multiple positions in the NBA and we know he comes from a strong basketball background via coach Jay Wright.

In our most recent Mock Draft from DKN Staff Writer Ameer Tyree, Bey ends up going later on in the 20s to the Utah Jazz. Check it out here.
