A bookmaker’s coinflip of a main event is on the card as the main event for UFC Fight Night this Saturday when Jessica Eye faces Cynthia Calvillo in a women’s flyweight bout where the winner will have an inside track on an opportunity at Valentina Shevchenko’s belt.

Eye remains ranked #1 in the division despite her second round KO by Shevchenko in June of last year. She defeated current #7 Viviane Arajuo in a unanimous decision at UFC 245, and is 15-7 in her MMA career. She’s only 5-6-1 in the UFC, but has won four of her last five with the only defeat coming to the undisputed champion.

Calvillo is 8-1-1, with her only loss via decision to Carla Esparza in December of 2017. A majority draw against Marina Rodriguez in her last outing in December was at strawweight, and she moves up to 125 lbs. for the first time here. She’s still being ranked #10 in the lighter division, and has five wins as a member of the UFC.
