UPDATE: How the public is betting Vettori vs. Roberson
It will be a bad blood battle when Marvin Vettori takes on Karl Roberson at UFC Fight Night this Saturday, June 13 at welterweight in the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas.
These two were supposed to battle on May 25th in Jacksonville, but a bad weight cut by Roberson where he still came in 1.5 pounds over forced a reschedule until this weekend. And as this confrontation shows, it wasn’t friendly between the two afterwards. It’s beyond NSFW, and the f-bomb gets used here more than possibly every other word combined as a noun, adjective, and adverb.
There’s real heat here, and it will make for a quality penultimate fight on the card. Vettori is 14-4 with 10 career stoppages, but his last two fights were both unanimous decision wins over Cezar Ferreira and Andrew Sanchez.
Roberson is 9-2 overall and 4-2 in the UFC. His last win was a rear naked choke victory over Roman Kopylov in November, making him 2-0 since dropping down a weight class. But going from 185 pounds to 170 two fights ago might explain the difficulty making weight.
Here are the betting odds at DraftKings Sportsbook for Marvin Vettori vs. Karl Roberson at UFC Fight Night on ESPN on June 13th:
Money line odds
Marvin Vettori: -225
Karl Roberson: +175
