Tale of the tape for Jordan Espinosa vs. Mark De La Rosa

UPDATE: How the public is betting Espinosa vs. De La Rosa

Two flyweights moving up a level to the bantamweight division of UFC, possibly with contract implications on the line, face off when Jordan Espinosa takes on Mark De La Rosa at UFC Fight Night on ESPN this Saturday, June 13th.

Espinosa is 14-7 in his MMA career, but is just 1-2 in the UFC despite being ranked #13 in the flyweight division. He’s tapped out in the first round of his last two matches to Matt Schnell and Alex Perez. The 30-year-old Findlay, Ohio resident has nine stoppages, seven by submission, as a professional.

De La Rosa is 11-4 career, but just 2-4 in the UFC and possibly fighting for a contract as well. He’s lost three in a row, two by decision to Alex Perez and Kai Kara-France, with a KO stoppage from Raulian Paiva in his last bout. He’s 2-4 in the UFC, with a stoppage over Elias Garcia in July of 2018.
