Two experienced welterweights looking to crack the Top 15 rankings in the UFC will battle as Neil Magny takes on Anthony Rocco Martin at UFC 250 on Saturday, June 6th in Las Vegas. But should either of them be on your DFS roster?

DraftKings DFS Values

Neil Magny: $8,700
Anthony Rocco Martin: $7.500

Magny is 22-7 as an MMA professional but only has 10 stoppages in his career, and just six in 21 UFC fights. His work rate as a striker isn’t particularly active either at 3.86 significant strikes per minute in 21 UFC fights. While he’s a small favorite in the fight at -150 on the money line, his style of fighting doesn’t lend itself to DFS points that reward early wins.

Martin is 17-5 career, but his UFC stats across 14 fights aren’t particularly inspiring either. He’s got just 2.82 SSPM, and only 0.82 takedowns per 15 minutes. He’s won eight of his last ten, but only two by stoppage. And quality fighters don’t always make good fantasy fighters.

If there’s a fight on the card to be avoided with your DFS roster at UFC 250, this is likely it. By the numbers, this looks like a decision after a very tactical fight. That doesn’t score, so this seems to be a stay away.
